Week ago I spend few amazing days in Paris and got chance to explore few shops. I must say I absolutely love French style. So where I was shopping?
The Galeries Lafayette department store in Paris is like Harrods in London. When my friends suggested we go there she said it’s worth to go not just because of range of clothes and shoes choice but also because of building itself. She was right. I enjoyed being at the store, wondering around. The Galeries Lafayette offers: a men and women’s designer collections always kept at the cutting-edge, the latest trends in jewelry and accessories, home furnishings, or cosmetics. Galeries Lafayette also houses a gourmet food market called “Lafayette Gourmet”: a useful stop for hungry travellers..
The Forum Des Halles. I must admit design of this shopping center was bit tricky but on the other hand I enjoyed shopping in there very much. The Forum is an excellent choice if you’re looking for a convenient place in the city center to find men and women’s fashion, home, electronic items, or gifts under a single roof.
Also we checked Latin Quarter of Paris which is an area in the 5th and parts of the 6th arrondissement of Paris. It is situated on the left bank of the Seine, around the Sorbonne. . Although it’s just next to St-Germain, shopping here couldn’t be more different. Given the large teen and student population from the area’s university faculties and prestigious lycées, it’s good for the inexpensive clothing chains of boulevard St-Michel, such as Pimkie, my favorite brand Promod, Etam and Celio, alongside massive bookstore and stationer Gibert Joseph.
I’m looking forward to come back to Paris to explore more great places to shop. Please let me know your favorite shop/shopping center or area in Paris.
