First Part

Tin Soldiers

Having picked up praise from the likes of Q Magazine, Kerrang! and Rock Sound for their previous singles, Kent based four-piece Tin Soldiers now release the catchy & upbeat ’24 hours’ along with their debut album ‘Telling Tales’. Tin Soldiers score 10/10 for their song writing and always keep their edge despite sounding comfortingly familiar. Calling on the production talents of Greg Brimson (Supergrass, Metallica, Bush) & John Cornfield (Muse, Feeder, Radiohead) this new and exciting band on the UK rock scene have delivered an excellent album packed full of powerful choruses and melodic riffs.

The new single 24 Hours is a fan favourite at gigs and lyrically tells of that moment of lost love. It’s their “Shut up and listen!” track which makes it the perfect opener for this 11 track album and has already been picked for rotation on Kerrang! TV

Other gems on the album Telling Tales include the upfront and driving singles Words Got Out and Just What I Needed, the uplifting Wait For You and the ethereal dreamscape Day by Day which closes the album. Where 2009 introduced the band to industry figures through a set of exclusive media parties, 2010 will draw them more into the mainstream spotlight and with fanbases bulging on both sides of the Atlantic plus a UK tour being planned as we speak – something’s got to give and it won’t be long!
